Like most surfers you've already searched the Web and found all kinds of places where you can get used auto values for American autos but have had little or no luck in finding a website that specializes in "accurate and up to date", Canadian used wholesale pricing.
In the USA, Kelley Blue Book ® seems to be the number one used auto pricing resource while in Canada insurance companies and banks etc., tend to use either the Canadian Black Book ® or the Canadian Red Book ® publications to determine current values. In Canada, it appears that unless you are a licensed automotive dealership, auto rental company, insurance company, etc, access to this information is limited and hard to come by. It seems even our book stores are stocked with used auto pricing guides that 99% of the time feature American automotive values only.
Since 1996 we have been providing the Canadian consumer with the essential tools for purchasing or selling an auto in the Canadian used automobile marketplace. Our unique AutoClub features a "fully automated online wholesale & retail pricing guide database". We receive our raw data direct from Canada's No. 1 most trusted used book values resource, the Canadian Black Book ®.
We do get asked "Can't I get this information from the Canadian Black Book website?" The quick answer is no. Although we agree it's a step in the right direction the new version of the Canadian Black Book consumer's website still does not offer wholesale pricing data to its public unlike many of its USA counterparts. They do present a low to high range for trade in values (guideline value), noted as being based on an automobile not being seen by its appraisers. You can as well review average dealer asking prices of automobiles extracted from various auto dealer inventories and something called future value based on current kms and estimated annual kms. Unfortunately still, the Canadian consumer can not access their current wholesale pricing data.
For convenience we've provided a pictorial outline below detailing the layout of our "easy to use" pricing guide exclusive to our AutoClub membership.

Our unique pricing guide is a valuable tool when purchasing or selling a used auto in Canada. In addition to receiving current wholesale and retail pricing the simple to use format allows you to easily add or deduct dollar amounts for available options. The fair market value estimate guide includes mileage factoring helping you to adjust dollar values for excessive or low kilometers.
Canadian Used Auto Pricing Guide - "Updated monthly" covering model years 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 & 2010. Covers all makes and models in the Canadian marketplace.
While on the subject of Canadian used auto pricing guides, there's one point of interest we'd like to mention. Contrary to popular belief, The Canadian Blue Book ® does not contain used automobile values, rather it contains pricing information for motorcycles, boats, snowmobiles and ATVs.
Please read on for more information with regards to wholesale & trade-in values or review automobile appraisal guidelines.
